Liat Dror Nir Ben Gal Dance Company

The Adama Dance School

In addition to the dance company, we operate an apprenticeship school,

in which students can learn the language of movement on all its aspects.

Our method of work combines minimums and maximums, supporting,

healing movement and professional dance, with all its exactness and physical complexity.

The school is intended for adults experienced in dance, movement and art

related to physical work, for those interested in learning both professional and therapeutic dance.

If you have been dancing professionally in groups for years,

and you feel somewhat worn-out, or you are experiencing pain,

then you are invited to try dancing with a different type of energy.

If you are just starting in this field, and you are interested in the world of movement on all its aspects

– the movement of the body, and the movement of life –

you should try moving things in a new manner.

If you have tried martial arts and healing techniques,

 and are looking for clear,

simple and effortless movement, then you are invited to expand your horizons.

A great deal of freedom and self discipline are necessary for us

to contain and realize space and our lives as sources of strength.

The hangar and the desert offer a place of learning and support.

The school offers a three-year training course, focused on the following aspects:

·         Choreography

·         A study of diverse techniques

·         Learning the group's repertoire, as a basis

·         Theoretical studies

·         Independent work – the ability to create

·         Show production

·         Service and tutoring (learning how to communicate what you have learned)

·         Work related to the body's and the earth's cycle

The school year starts on  October 2010and ends on June 2011

A summer course and a teachers' course will be conducted in July

    How to get to Adama

The easiest way to get here is to take the train till Beersheva. Then across the street you have the central busstation. You take the bus 60 (Metropolin) till Mitzpe Ramon. Almost every hour you have a bus.

It's a  1H 30 trip and the sight is beautiful. Ask the driver to get off at the first stop in Mitzpe Ramon, after you get off take the first turn to the left( you will see our yard on your right) and then the first turn to the right. That's it!!

In a car drive on road 40. The first entrance to Mitzpe Ramon is on your right( there's a big sign "Spice Routes Quarter", turn right. Then the second turn left and the first right to the parking area.
